An abandoned tennis court in the grounds of an abandoned Victorian manor. The ground is all covered in moss. `More info in comments` [OC] - u/TheGhostTrail

This tennis court is in the grounds of a Manor House that was originally built in 1888 and used as a hunting lodge. Over the years many families have called this place home, and most recently it was used as a luxury wedding venue. Unfortunately an electrical fault caused a fire a few years ago which ripped through the property, and it has been abandoned ever since. I’ve made a video of my explore along with a few other places if you’re interested. No pressure of course! Video - u/TheGhostTrail

Hopefully OP will join us and replace my posts with their own, as it is their OC after all.

I wonder how well it would work to play tennis on. Moss tennis might be similar to grass tennis.

I imagine it would be more slippery and if the moss is growing on concrete that might make it more dangerous.

You hear all this talk of clay and grass and hard courts... I propose a new grand slam held on moss courts

What surface was underneath it originally? Clay, grass?

I love moss
