Giving Summit a spin again after bouncing around apps for a while now. Gotta say this app has come a long way since the last time I used it and is rapidly becoming my favorite fediverse browser.
I've been tweaking the myriad of settings to my liking and everything feels fluid EXCEPT, I have been unable to find a way to keep my system navigation and notifications on-screen while I browse.
Right now, Summit runs as a full-screen app, constantly hiding my device navigation buttons, which is not my preferred way to interact. I am constantly reaching for my back button only to realize it is either two taps (swipe to show, then click), or I need to reach my lazy thumb aaaaallllll the way to the opposite corner of the screen to hit that back arrow.
I would love to have an option to keep this app from running exclusive full screen mode and instead have it work like every other social/browser app on my phone and keep my system navigation intact while I browse.
ETA: And if I'm just overlooking an existing setting that does this, consider this a request to make that setting more clearly defined and located!

This is very odd. Summit is not designed to be a full screen app. I've tested the app on ~10 unique test devices across multiple OS versions and none of them hide the navigation/notification bar. Can you let me know what device, OS and OS version you are running?

I'm on a Pixel 7 with GrapheneOS, but the problem seems to have resolved itself, I have not had the issue again since making the post. I will however definitely reach out if it returns.
