Funny if real. I am interested in potential countermeasures to Flock, however...

Zero chance that post is real.

i will give leftover donuts to whoever can proof this post with an ai image is real

I think for this to work, the pictures should be fewer and larger. And also include things like motorcycles and pedestrians for good measure.

Well, considering they’re primarily using RFID, there’s no paint that will help. Your tire pressure sensor is enough. The next generation of these “cameras” will just be a sensor on a stick.

Ah, well, good thing my TPMS sensors are long dead, I guess.

But do you have a source on that? I kind of have doubts about whether TPMS sensors A) have a long enough range to make this feasible and B) are uniquely identifiable. How far away can TPMS sensors from a moving vehicle actually be detected? And do TPMS sensors broadcast some kind of ID number or other identifiable information that would distinguish them from the millions of other TPMS sensors on the same road?

Well, shit. That's pretty definitive.

Doubly happy now that my current car's TPMS sensors are long dead. And now I'm planning to deliberately remove the sensors from any newer car I might get in the future.

I find tpms sensors leak air after a time.

I've taken to replacing them with rubber stems with the tire change

$1-2 vs $60+.

Imagine helping cops fuck with cool people for old donuts

Lucidlethargy@sh.itjust.works · 14 pts · 19h (6 replies)

Why does anyone here think this is real?

Kellenved@sh.itjust.works · 6 pts · 18h

They want those leftover donuts of course

Wolf314159@startrek.website · 2 pts · 4h (4 replies)

I think more people just really want these kinds of stories to be real than actually believe this happened. I know that if I had some totally legal way to really fuck with those corporate fascists and the police and the only cost was an ugly wrap on my piece of shit car or van, I'd do it without skipping a beat.

glimse@lemmy.world · 2 pts · 3h (3 replies)

It doesn't even have to be about Flock or cops. People will believe anything on an uncited social media screenshot

Wolf314159@startrek.website · 2 pts · 3h (2 replies)

To be clear, I don't think they are up voting because they think it is real.

glimse@lemmy.world · 2 pts · 2h (1 reply)

Upvoting, maybe not. But read the comments in any post like this and you'll find people replying like it's real. There's even a few on this post and this image is several reposts deep now so it's skewed

Yeah, well what can I say. The comment section is always full of idiots, myself included.

We need license plate covers that have jagged edges

Guys, this is clearly a parody account

Atomic@sh.itjust.works · 4 pts · 23h

Tell me, what does a raw onion taste like? Do you eat it like an apple or do you peel the layers and eat them one by one?

minorkeys@sh.itjust.works · 4 pts · 9h

Does it fuck with flock though? A new kind of digital camo.
