Pro-wrestler Sweet Daddy Siki was a trailblazing performer in more ways than one

This isn't recent but something made me think of him and I thought it would be interesting to folks.

I used to say, “I’m Mr. Irresistible, Sweet Daddy Siki. The ladies’ pet and the man’s regret.”

I never attended the weekly Karaoke events he hosted at The Duke, but his name and image being on the side of the building was part of the landscape that I took for granted.
