I've been all out for a while and been mixing it as I go.
I don't know what the cost of this is because five of the six ingredients were from my garden. It's pretty close to zero. Even that jar of red pepper flakes has been refilled from a bulk source.
4 tablespoons dried basil
2 tablespoons dried oregano
2 tablespoons dried rosemary
2 tablespoons dried marjoram
2 tablespoons dried thyme
1 tablespoon red pepper flakes

I have some but I also need more. I am growing basil inside and it's doing well, maybe I'll get to dry some later!

Thanks for reminding me that I need to do this again too as I’m almost out. I usually stick mine in a grinder as I like it to be a fine powder for certain recipes.

I prefer mine with some visual texture. What are you using the powder for?

I’ll use it when I make salad dressing. Also throw it into pasta bakes, marinades, and things like that. I’ll add extra herbs when I want the texture. To be honest though I mostly grind it up as certain family members don’t like the texture of dried rosemary, so this just makes it easier lol.

I did rough up my rosemary a bit before adding it. But in a mortar. Just enough to break the pieces in 1/3rds.

Makes sense. I could also do that but I’m too lazy hehe. I might give it a try next time though. Thanks!
