Going to keep this release "small" so I can push some improvements out.
The biggest change is going to be a post/comment loading refactor. This should offer some minor user experience improvements such as adding in some missing loading indicators or error messages. It should also improve post/comment loading performance and eliminate some edge case bugs.
Changes so far:
- Refactor post/comment loading
- Fix issue where hide duplicate post feature was keying off the wrong preference (it was keying off whether hidden posts were enabled).
- Fix all comments expanding when the "collapse comments by default" setting is on.
- Fix a bug where the number of local subscribers is being reported as the total subscribers on PieFed.
- Fix a bug where the the bottom bar becomes visible after tapping on an image in a post if the setting "lock navigation bar" is enabled.
- Add setting for displaying pronouns next to names when available. Default on.
- Add a new setting page called "People". Settings that change how people are displayed will be moved to this new page.
- Add setting for displaying a "BOT" label next to bots. Default on.

Since a week my piefed account stopped working on summit for some reason. (Piefed.social)
Also a small feature request: add a button when writing a comment to add a spoiler. I found out that this method works.

I can't reproduce the piefed.social issue. If you remember any changes you might have made to your account around the time you noticed the problem please let me know. I suspect it has something to do with account settings since I can't reproduce thr problem on any of my piefed accounts.

Okay FYI: i logged out of my piefed account, tried logging in but no dice. Still error 404. then closed the app and tried again. Voila!
