Just wanted to share I will commit to not smoking today. I noticed this community has not been too active, but I can’t be the only one struggling now and then, can I? Would love to have a support group here.

Stay strong. The cravings still come along, 6 weeks later even. Try not to replace that anxiety with candy and junk food. I bring a few snacks to work every night: some mixed nuts, about a cup of kimchi with a few baby dills thrown on top, an apple, and then of course my main course. Five gum also helps.
Stupid Market Fresh at work…it is so difficult not to buy a candy bar every night now.
I’ve also given up Monsters and weed. It feels good not wasting money on that stuff, but man the anxiety can just go from 0-100 at the drop of a hat. I keep looking for things to replace that stuff with, but I think that is the wrong mindset. Rather than replace, I need to learn to just be ok with leaving that void alone.
Easier said than done 😓

Thanks. I know all the thing you say, and most of the days im very much able te resist or not even consider to smoke. But every once in a while it pops up, right.
Should be stronger than that, and most days I am. But still.

It’s been a long time since I’ve had one but today, I will also not have one. I’ll be here, not smoking with you. Stay strong, the other side of cessation is a new and healthier life.

I will, and I know. Thank you for your support.
