Why is it such a big deal was made about organizations like World Trade Organisation being able to circumvent individual nation's legislation and will of the people but Trump does whatever he wants?

Zero mention of WTO circumventing his bullshit even tho there are agreements that nations could easily sue and bypass

Or does America have a unilateral free pass from trade dispute resolution

I mean Canada has won cases against the US for softwood lumber and never collected a cent. So yes America is immune.

Maybe, or maybe not. But some rich folks - unaccustomed to consequences for their actions - feel that the only way to be sure is to put it to the test.
