I feel lucky I had never heard of this idiot before this story. Hoping that the article ages well and he drifts back into obscurity

So hold on, British people are ejust being deported from the USA now for not being American? Lol

First Prince Harry, now Milo Yiannopoulos.

A few notes on Milo: he is gay and, though a right wing thinker + speaker, he isn't as extreme as you might think; notably he publically challenged and lambasted some prig RW influencer who cheated on his wife + family, so i think he is... honourable, for how he went about that

EDIT: Just opened the article and saw that he's friends with Laura Loomer. YIKES! That'll teach me to infodump as if I know best

He isn't as extreme as we might think?

The guy who published an article titled "Would You Rather Your Child Had Feminism Or Cancer?".

The guy who said, on video, "that sexual relationships between 13-year-old boys and adults can "happen perfectly consensually", because some 13-year-olds are, in his view, sexually and emotionally mature enough to consent to sex with adults; he spoke favourably both of gay 13-year-old boys having sex with adult men and straight 13-year-old boys having sex with adult women".

The guy who told "at least two news organizations that he wanted vigilantes to shoot journalists. He wrote in a text message "I can't wait for vigilante squads to start gunning journalists down on sight".".

That guy isn't extreme?

Regarding what he said about paedophilia: while nobody could justify it, I don't think it's the best example of his extremism. He was molested by a priest at 13. That experience would give anyone fucked up views around sex and consent. Maybe he adopted that view so he could rationalise his own sexual abuse as consensual. I hope that in his shoes I would've found a better way to cope with that trauma. He was still wrong for saying it but the whole thing makes me feel more sad than angry.

As for the rest of his extremist views, presumably he came by those honestly so fuck him.

Harry wasn't deported was he?

If that was true the Daily Mail would have kittens
