I aknowledge, this is kind off vagueposting, but for some reason on facebook shorters titles spark better discussions, of course not the same on lemmy... so yeah this is unintentional vagueposting
Facebook has been out there for much longer, where many more people are using it in non-sanctioned regions (e.g., if I am not mistaken, Russia blocked it considering Meta a terrorist due to its disinformation).
Reddit, Facebook, X/Twitter, etc., or a popular massive social platform with different kind of people who, frankly, got relaxed much enough to waste their finite human precious life time into, sorry, nonsense. Some might tell that the social network is now designed for it, for a human to forget about their life time, one of the most valuable resource they have, enriching the vendor in parallel.
Meanwhile, the vendor, has full permission to block/banish anyone who disturbs their monetary income, making everyone involved depending on it. Which is fair legally, but is inhuman, giving the banned person did not disturb them explicitly but accidentally, or just spoke a truth now considered "unwanted".
