Heavy Metal, but in Spanish. YSK that internet archive has tons of old comics and magazines. You should read and share some.

It's a twofer. I wanted to share the original version of Heavy Metal, called "Metal Hurlant" in french, but the results came back in spanish. Better for me to learn spanish with anyway.

But as the readers of this community, you too can help enrich this place by finding stuff on Internet Archive and posting it here. Johnny enzyme needs a rest (and an apology from me for something I did to make him nonplussed somewhere else, and I figure deeds are better than words)

Edit : Link changed per Johnny's suggestion.

I had no idea Métal Hurlant had an American version.

It's quite a cultural touchstone in US works, they had game(s), an animated film and a south park parody episode.

If you've ever wondered, "What was the internet like 30 years ago?" Read Internet Underground and find out.

Thanks for sharing this, Skully! 🙂

I've forgotten whatever it was that needed an apology, but apology accepted!

Now... the sharing of this M.H. content is appreciated, although I'll have to think about if we're okay to link directly to more such material, in future. Specifically, I'm thinking of our host's #8 rule here. I threw this over to GPT to help me get a clearer picture there, and so far it doesn't look like an egregious violation, FWIW.

Still, If more Archive.Org material is going to be shared in future, I'd say that for now, it's probably best if a single illustration or page is uploaded, with an accompanying google link that just so happens to discover the full content on AO, like so:

https://www.google.com/search?q=metal+hurlant+%231+magazine+on+archive.org

Actually kinda useful, because it also turns up the French version as well.
