What are your experiences with Ambien like?

Tried it many years ago, and when I still couldn't fall asleep, I had what were basically waking nightmares.

No way I'd ever try it again.

I have been told by my doctor that she almost refuses to prescribe it due to all the negative side effects. She will try anything before recommending it. Trazadone worked great for me.

Metallic taste in mouth and an unrestful sleep. If anxiety is keeping you awake like it was me, escitalopram has been life-changing.

I don't have the slightest idea about who or what Ambien is.
