Neurons firing. I recognise one of those blobs as being oddly similar to the real-world administrative area where I grew up, not that I learned the actual shape of it until a few years ago. The blobs around it don't match though.

borders still look a bit awkward for coastlines maybe passing them through some smoothing procedure could make them more easy on the eye
