Given his age (20s) he would fit in well with the other announced X-Men. Iceman is a possibility.
However given that we just named a bunch of X-Men publicly and the phrase "key role" (which probably doesn't actually mean anything), Franklin Richards is a possibility. If we're going to age up T'Challa, why not Franklin Richards too.
