And here at work we just had a DC “fast charger” installed that does 50kW. Lol

Chinese EV can’t come to Canada soon enough.

Does it matter at work?

Just looked it up and apparently 10-20kWh per 100km is fairly typical for normal size EVs and 30 or so for American sized ones.

So even a regular ~2kW socket would be plenty. For the amount of time it is parked at work it would fully charge from any normal commute.

We are a dealership. All of our EV must be fully charged at delivery, so that can be dozens of 85 kWhr batteries a week from empty.

OK that is quite a unique "at work" demand for fast charging.

Aight, but can the batteries actually handle that without damage?
