Pre s03e10 / Post s03e09 Theories

Hey everyone,

I have just joined the community. Not much activity is in here, but perhaps someone is willing to discuss the ending season, and the upcoming one (the next year, I suppose).

I forgot about people gathering together discussing their theories, and perhaps that’s too late, as the final episode is airing later today.

I myself would have time to watch it this weekend, or best thing tomorrow evening. Maybe someone would have some time to discuss things, before the final episode is here.

I did not read the book (yet), and I expect it to be different in details. So I’m rather willing to discuss the TV series.

I’d start.

The theory I like is that the outside world is not really dangerous, and the mist upon leaving a Silo is full of poison or these nano particles (I don’t understand what that is).

Perhaps the billionaire trillionaire made up the nuclear blast. I’ve seen theory that it’s a huge screen too, fooling everyone into believing there was a blast. But I’d rather pick the real blast version. Perhaps Charlotte (the sister) was the one placing it.

The theory I think may be true is that Daniel may end up being the villain, perhaps even the antagonist. And he’s on the forgetting drugs, so we don’t know yet of his dark side. Him using an Android suggests that. (Weirdly, his wife uses Android too.)

Perhaps the wife (keep forgetting her name, sorry) is still alive somewhere, and she’s not shown, as she’s on there forgetting drug to. My bet is that everyone was on the forgetting drug first, and there was no 300 years between the timelines. My guess is that it’s been just one generation, so like 30 to 50 years or so. So everyone old inside a Silo may remember the real world. The flamekeeper with the sand scenes, could be her real memories.

Perhaps the Jules’ murdered boyfriend was the kid of the senator and the journalist. Hence the petz and the watch. More likely the petz would awaken the memories of Daniel in the Silo 1. Who is the voice behind the Silo GPT.

The kids in the Silo 17 can just leave anytime (it’s not poisoned, the world), but they are not aware of this, so they keep living inside their Silo.

Solo is the kid of that musician.

The world is perfectly safe, but the surrounding area considered poisonous (perhaps due some propaganda), that’s why there are no visitors. As I get it, people know about the project already. Or, they do not know, the public. Hence there’s very little chance anyone would find the Silos in that wasteland.

I’m not sure Bernard truly died under that tree. Do we know that for sure?

Silos are interconnected underground, so what if miners can go talk with each other? (Feels a bit too wild, perhaps they are not talking, but the Silos are interconnected, I’m pretty sure.)

That’s off the top of my head.
