Hey now, no need for hyperbole. There will probably be 3-10 summers less apocalyptic than this. Weather is variable so sometimes it'll deviate towards non-apocalypticness.

Well, you can always tell him that you'll be sure to quibble over the nuance whenever you visit his headstone for a chat —as long as the ground holds fast, scavengers haven't dug his wormfeed up yet, and nothing seeps into his eternal silence from the global meltdown of human civilization all around his grave.
