Trump spent decades blathering on about how he would be a great president, so much better than anyone else in that office. He finally gets in and completely fucks up EVERYTHING! Not a single fucking thing isn't completely fucked to hell and back. This country may not surive him.
He already had 50 years of track record ruining his businesses and people vote for him. The he ruined the country already and people voted for him a second time. By a bigger margin.
If he runs a third time he will get 60% of the vote.
The problems aren't the paint, it's losing a war and all your bases to Iran fighting an unnecessary and pointless war while you have a forty year old ship breaking deployment records because you're so goddamn incompetent you and your ass kissers couldn't figure out a sensible duty rotation.
The US military doesn’t use lead based paint for environmental and health reasons. Many other nations use such paints with many more additives in their ships to keep them from rusting. This is usually the reason our fleet looks so worn. We use our ships and we don’t have “the best” paint to begin with.
This is bad, but a yard period in dry dock will fix this. However the rest of the ship is likely just as fucked.

Haven't you seen a ship ever? That's just how they look when they're not brand new or freshly painted.
That thing is not meant to be pretty. She's meant to bomb poor people at the other side of the world, and that she does quite well.
And also what's with all that whining? "We've had to work seven months! And most of us didn't even get to personally kill any brown kids!".
