"Meet J" feels to me like a loremaster's work to tie in the retcons (spoilers!)

In one of the animation presentations Glitch Productions did, Liam Vickers, the author, admits there are some ideas put in the first episode that later they decided to drop. Iirc one example he gives is the dude robot Uzi meets in detention which would have been more more relevant originally but his presence was scrapped.

Considering the shifts in direction throughout the series, it feels like there were other retcons not commented about too.

A major one I get this impression is Cyn / The Resolver's introduction in the story and her growing relevance, which felt rather abrupt imo, with even the solution to defeating her giving a rather sudden and out of the blue sensation (small tangent, but the Tombmasters' music might be an explanation to that "defeat", but I need to rewatch it and properly check the lyrics).

Now, in "Meet J", elements that give this feeling of tying in retcons that come to mind:

• when Cyn says through the call that she'd be participating personally in the process, giving a reason to her relevance and her now "sudden" apparition in quotation marks
• better context for the split among the 3 murder drones
• focus in the J&C, as in, not an once real company, but Murder Drone J & Cyn?
• The episode ending with a scene from the first episode, giving a reference for when all this was happening

It'd been floating in my head for a while and wanted to share.
