Do you observe Audacity more closely? After the infamous change of owner I lost news. How it is now about trustworthiness there?

Closely is stretching it but somewhat.

It's still open source under GPL. Any telemetry that may be in there will probably get patched out by Linux distributors. I hope Tenacity picks this new version up.
