@EUCommission Curious about the details of what the EU is proposing and whether it will actually deliver for passengers? We have a complete summary for you https://erpu.eu/en/passenger-package

@EUCommission I really want this to become a reality. The European train network, if functioning well, is one of the things we can and should take pride in (and use).
Is there a proposed time line?

Hello @thisislieven!
We submitted these proposed regulations to the Council of the European Union and the European Parliament for consideration under the ordinary legislative procedure back in May. We will communicate here once the proposal has been signed off by the elected representatives and the EU countries.
In the meantime, feel free to check out this video we made about this and other aspects of train travel in the #EU:

@EUCommission Silly assumption I don't follow Made in Europe already. 😀
Let's hope both Council and Parliament speed it up a little. Slightly surprised this has to go through the legislative process though.

That would be great! I just booked a ride from Frankfurt/Main to Manchester (sadly not any more EU) and it's really exhausting.
What made it worse is, that she is riding a weelchair, so we didn't only had to buy tickets but sparately had to organize help.
So if you speak about removing barriers please think of accessibility as well!
Thank you 🌻
