Not really sure why you would use the letter "å" here.
As a Swede, "cåt" is pronounced exactly like "kåt", which is slang for horny.....
I believe they used ä not å and my guess would be it's because of the eyes
And if you write "cat" in german just live it sounds it would be "kät"
Huh for me its ä. While in swedish ä is only close to cat, in finnish for example its exactly the same sound so ä is a pretty solid pick.
