With Artemis III now having all its RS-25D engines installed, it’s time to look at their history!

Surprisingly, two of these engines share a history of flying together twice! 2052 and 2057 both flew missions 117 and 122 and will now end their final flight together as well. 2052 also shared a history with another engine; it flew once with 2054 on mission 126.

There is an even deeper history with the AJ10-190: its first flight was 41 years ago in 1985! It did have a strange pause in flights in 1986 but returned in 2007 to finish off the shuttle program. The AJ10 also shares flights with two RS-25s, these being 2057 and 2054.

A little thing I forgot to add, but 2052, 2054, and the AJ10 all shared a flight awelll, STS-126
