It's just boring for some reason. It has high production value and clearly a lot of effort went into the worldbuilding and writing, but it just doesn't hold my attention.
The dude went completely off the rails, blamed being cAnCeLlEd in Hollywood because he's a christian and his conservative values and just latched on to every bullshit conspiracy theory possible in a desperate attempt to remain relevant
Isn't the Voyager a partially living ship? I recall an episode mentioning it uses some packs of living bacteria to maintain basic functionality and they kept getting infected with something from Neelix's terrible cooking.

On the one hand, yay Andromeda referenced. On the other hand, fuck Kevin Sorbo with a rusty jackhammer.

Have it, but haven't opened it yet. Is Andromeda worth putting up with Sorbo, or should I just write it off?

Write it off. I struggled to get through it and that was before I found out how much of a fucking lunatic he is

Was he yelling stage directions as dialogue in Andromeda as well?

Oh wow. Thanks. I actually liked Andromeda somewhat back in the day. Too bad he turned out that way

I had watched it but I don't remember what it was about, only that the ship looked kinda goofy

The first three seasons are fun. I wouldn't recommend the last two.

Neelix brings a little of that homegrown American with the way he dates Tess
SGforce@lemmy.ca · 5 pts · 12d
Oh, you want strange? How familiar are Americans with this show? https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0115243/

Not Yank...
I did see some Lexx on either channel 5 or 4 or on some turkish channel at like 2am one time.
Seemed like a more sloppy, sexualised Farscape.

Not inaccurate.
It's also hilarious.

Yes, but also very dark. Like at some point I asked myself "are they in a literal hell?"
aaa999@lemmy.world · 2 pts · 11d
oh yeah, the season where they go to hell, season 3 of lexx, we've all seen it

Took me far too long to read Neelix rather than Netflix

How did you have this just sitting around? That seems far too specific to just be a thing, lol.
