Statistically, probably Republican. The better-off areas of West Virginia are more likely to vote Democrat.
Most West Virginians unfortunately continue to blindly toss their votes at whoever promises them more coal and natural gas extraction (versus investing in long-term, sustainable industries) while ignoring the core reasons for their lower-than-average standards.
