I had a campaign set in a libertarian hell hole of a city, ruled by four families who owned the four large shipyards. Their estates are marked a-d. The numbers are the large markets of the city. The other marked locations are e - lit. "storehouse city", f - shipyards and g - "wooden labyrinth", a large area full of giant stacks of drying lumber. The Northeast is the mouth of a river with a chain across that catches all the lumber that's floated down the river.
I went for a bit a a medieval style with the wild perspective changes in the wall. And I really didn't want to sketch out the slums.
Done on an old Samsung tablet with the s-pen.

I unironically love the on the nose name of having "dungeon" in the name of the city, but it is still a very believable name for a city. Dunno if that was intentional or not (it being spelled "dugen" instead of "dungeon"), but that's the fun of art it's open to interpretation.
Also great job on the caligraphy, been playing around with it myself and man it's so fun to do.

Funny coincidence. It was not intentional and I didn't realize until now. But I also think, write and play in German, and although we use the word dungeon in the context of "seriies of rooms with encounters" it didn't connect when I thought up a city.
Yeah, the calligraphy was fun! I got into it in the weeks before making this map. I enjoy it more on paper tbh.
