I bought some kiln wash on a day trip a few months ago and decided I'd better get it on the shelves if I want to start glazing!
Here is one of my kiln shelves with 1, 2 and 3 layers of wash. I will still use cookies in most cases. I figure the added protection won't hurt!
Bonus shot, the cookies are so vitrified it's taking forever to dry ðŸ˜
