People are allowed to care about multiple things.

It’s easy to hate AI data centers. You don’t have to do anything.

Going for the far worse of the two would actually require us all to modify our consumption habits, which no one wants to do.

It’s like how conservatives “care” about fetuses. They get to look righteous without having to sacrifice anything.
