Throw back to a painting I did in 2024. Trying to get the CRT glow was a challenge.
I was trying to capture that "now what?" late summer night feeling of my youth, finishing a rented video game with hours before it was due back and absolutely wired from sugary drinks and candy all night.

Man this reminds me of one of my old buddies. Used to love Nintendo, would always reference old video games, wore converse and drank Yoohoos.
Unfortunately we don't talk anymore after some friend group drama a few years ago. This painting makes me miss him a bit.
