Is anybody else having this issue on their page? A bunch of images (SFW and NSFW) have disappeared from my gallery. All of them from the September 11th and 12th. Not all of the image from those dates have disappeared, just random posts. It's very odd and a bit disappointing to just randomly lose posts like that. @perchance@lemmy.world

There not just my missing photos...it was confirmed by the AI Helper that 3-4 of my most active users didn't post a single thing for almost 2 days (that number includes myself). They all mentioned this to me themselves and I know I had images disappear. They are not hidden, they weren't just voted down. They literally disappeared. The AI Helper couldn't locate them, as if they were never posted or were permanently deleted. Even images that "fall out" of a gallery after a certain amount of time or when the gallery hits around 10k images are still stored by Perchance and not completely deleted...these were

I can't unfortunately other than the fact that I have some users (myself included) who post fairly consistent numbers of images everyday and the AI Helper was able to show that the number of posts dramatically fell of for those dates from those specific users. Also we all saw them in the Gallery well before they poofed.

WTF are you talking about? I run a popular generator and it's concerning when my users images are disappearing. Reporting a legitimate issue isn't the same as bitching because the text generator doesn't do things the way you want them to, or that you can't generate the perfect gooner image. I have a fairly dedicated user base (yes some are gooners, but other legitimately create interesting work) that would like an explanation. This is not idle complaining but an actual bug report.
