It's been a long time and it's sorry to hear what happened to Chester. But I think Emily does a great job - not in replacing Chester but in being the voice for LP!

She works well with Mike but in a different way. It’s like Sammy Hagar and David Lee Roth. Both great singers for Van Halen but very different; almost incomparable. But in both cases, the band can be enjoyed equally with either singer.

Linken Park has always felt like a guilty pleasure band for me since I remember buying the first album in high school and enjoying it before they blew up. Believe it or not, it felt underground at one point. I got to see them, Stained and STP in 2001—great concert. Admittedly, I didn’t think LP would age well, but they have in my opinion. They matured well as a band and yet have preserved their sound. No easy feat.🤘

Saw them in Vancouver.
The only issue with Emily singing for LP is that she only has 1 album of her own music with LP.
She isn't Chester, she's Emily. That's it, the more music they make the better the shows will be. She isn't bad singing Chester's songs, but she will get better with more experience, finding what she is capable of, trying to make them her own.
There is no reason at all for her to not sing them, for the crowd and the rest of the band to not play their own songs, but Emily has a great voice that entirely fits the band.
I'm excited to see what the next few albums will bring us after seeing them live
