Thank you for rescuing. Rescues are every bit as loving, and definitely deserving of a loving home.

My girl was in the shelter for like a year, because she was an old girl. I adopted her when she was 11 and now she's 15.

This cat is a purring machine! She was only available for adoption at the shelter for one day. The staff knew she'd be picked quickly.

But yes, winning at life. I read somewhere you should record their purr so you've always got it.

Audio and video, I promise you both are good ideas!

I hate to break it to you, but that's not a bird. Though as a fellow dog person, I can understand the mistake.
