While still hunting the elusive Emissary and the TNT Dome 8 keycard around the WV Lumber Co., I came across this robotic refugee, Wavy Willard's Protectron, serial number WW-8802. This misguided agent of post-war advertising had spent nearly two decades trudging south along the Ohio River, completely oblivious to the fact that Wavy Willard's was now an irradiated ruin, with a target audience of Super Mutants, Blood Eagles, and feral ghouls. The sorry sot then proceeded to scan my radiation-soaked gear, and offer me a crisp, pre-war discount coupon for the Slime Blowout water slide—entirely unbothered by the fact that the park's green glow could barely be seen at the horizon. I tried to tell the wayward bot about his wasted efforts, but its logic loop refused to compute "apocalypse." It politely reminded me that sunscreen is mandatory at Wavy Willard's, warned me about line-jumping, and plodded right past a pile of rusted cars toward the next "potential customer."
