There’s an aesthetic ideal I’ve been chasing for maybe fifteen-ish years now. I had always been big into Final Fantasy, and 13-2’s sequences in the City of Academia in particular struck me hard. I think the bulk majority of the art that I produce, of those broad cityscapes I photograph, is trying to capture that essence, that glass-bound, overcast neofuture, the sort that lights up real fancy when it’s night.
