Haunting and charming. Is that like a charcoal wash w/ tape and ink for the tallies?

Thank you! It's charcoal with the lighter parts erased and compressed charcoal for the tallies.

This is really well done. The background is so smooth. How long did it take you to get it to be perfectly faded into itself like that?

Thank you! Hard to say, all in all this drawing took me maybe an hour, probably less, with the majority spent on clean up and blending.

oh wow. Double kudos then. I love the tear-streak lines as well.
