Yet, something is clearly going on. Even after Moulton once again proved that not showing up for transgender people loses races, more and more Democrats have begun to break ranks in what is a deeply troubling pattern.
Amy Acton, the Democratic nominee running for governor in Ohio, jumped on this back in June by invoking sports and calling transgender girls "boys" in the process. I should note that, as her statements received blowback, her campaign scheduled a "listening session" with trans activists – only for her to skip out on attending.
She's not alone. California gubernatorial candidate Xavier Becerra (D) has taken a similar stance, as have candidates in a total of 14 states. In an interview last November, Becerra said, "There's nothing in the Constitution that says that you are entitled to play a sport."
Then there's James Talarico, the Democratic U.S. Senate candidate in Texas.
I wrote good things about Talarico just a few months ago. In a pitched battle against Republican Attorney General Ken Paxton for a Senate seat from the Lone Star State, Talarico has faced a non-stop smear campaign over transgender issues, up to and including allegations that he, himself, is somehow transgender.

Talarico, perhaps feeling that such a message would not be a winning one for him in Texas, has changed tack.
In a recent Fox News interview, Talarico agreed that there were only two sexes, and stated that he would be in favor of a national ban on gender-related surgeries for transgender youth. Never mind how exceedingly rare such surgeries are when it comes to the under-18 set.
Texas is a deathcult pretending to be just another shithole.
