Going vegan was one of the best moral decisions I've made in my life. It's a lot easier to reconcile my own actions when I know they don't contribute to (as much) needless suffering and death.
There's of course a lot like that, but it's worth sharing that I did run into an industry funded study once that actually found the opposite anyway despite that donor pressure

It was like the community just stopped pretending we were trying to do a pluralist liberal democracy after all... which is what I thought we were trying to do.

i think you did a great job pointing out that this is in fact a satire post and not meant to be taken literally and i'm really happy that you shared that with me because an alternate version of me might now have known that so i think you did the right thing and i'm really just - i'm really happy that you did that for me cuz that's just good to know and such and also come here <3

Fair but I'm also using this to state a truly unbelievable amount of research is funded by biased parties.
The fact that an author was funded by big beef, pork, dairy and egg really makes my point.
