As soon as I read pizza-sized I knew which sub this belongs in...
I'm not even sure if that comparison evokes the right dimensions in everybody's mind.
Cultural differences, too:
So the starfish can be anywhere between 22 and 40cm in diameter? OTOH if that reflects the natural variation maybe the comparison isn't so bad after all.
The article itself appears to be quite good btw.
