This is my original iPod Classic that I bought in 2007 in high school. It was originally an 80GB silver 6th gen classic.
I first replaced the battery in 2012 during college, and mangled it so badly it was held together with duck tape.
In 2015 after college I replaced the battery again and got a new back and front plate (still silver).
In 2019 I replaced the battery with a 2,000mah battery, purple front plate and thick back. I also swapped the screen with a new one since the original broke, and added a black clickwheel. This was also when I first flash-modded it with an iFlash board and SD card.
In 2024 I replaced the back again, upgraded to a new 3,000mah battery, and got a new headphone port.
The only original parts left are the board and frame. 😂

I didn't realise you could get dark mode on an iPod. The whole thing looks great.
