The Russian state Duma election started today and spans 3 days, the previous election was 5 years ago in 2021, so this is the first election since Russia invaded Ukraine in February 2022.
IDK if this election actually means anything as it is obviously rigged, but the rumors are that Putin will mobilize 3-500.000 troops after the election.
An election may also be an occasion that could cause unrest, although that seems highly unlikely ATM.
