So glad to see the three "moms for liberty" getting pushback.
For one thing, three Karens calling their busybody bullshit "liberty" is quite a fucking take...hearing their stupid "grievances" is like scrolling through Nextdoor or (the modern) Facebook feeds...

School boards are such a strange concept in general. I can emphasize with the desire to increase the accountability of school administration, and judges, sheriffs and coroners (?), but you just end up jeopardizing their legitimacy by making these roles explicitly partisan and introducing conflicts of interests.

Well, as usual, the conservatives ruin everything and try to politicize everything and divide America as much as possible to achieve their nefarious agenda.
I do really think they have a sickness. I don't think school boards used to be something all that partisan - at least my dim memories of how it worked when I grew up - but I wouldn't be surprised at all to learn that cons followed Newt's GOPAC edict to go forth and sow as much division as possible since the 90s.
I know that during Covid, they were sending in Qanon dipshits to disrupt and derail things; I think they were encouraging lots of their extremists to get into local positions and monkeywrench things as much as possible at the local level, too.
Because the liberals are trafficking kids and because of all the trans agenda and so on...obviously, because of these imaginary perils, no one else can have nice things, either. That's a totally normal reaction from well-adjusted adults...
