Yeah I lived in the American South and that ad is not fucking ok. Maybe it doesn't hit the same in the UK but they deserve some criticism.

I watched Foreign Man talk about this on Twitch earlier. Definitely rage bait that back-fired on them spectacularly.

Not a sneakerhead, but from my casual shoe-shod view of pop culture, sneaker culture flows as directly from the black community as hip-hop does.

The only other thing I know is Converse has a cool punk-indie vibe that will absolutely not want to be associated with lynching.
