Think about what exactly the joke is about. What position the actress is placed in. What position the reader is placed in. The punchline of the "joke". Who, given those things, the joke is for.
It makes you think that maybe we don't need "passionate" sex scenes in movies if implied sex would do it (naked people fade to black) if that's your stance.
It makes you think "wow some actors/actresses must be very good at their craft" if they don't let you notice the disgust they are feeling even though if you think about it not everyone is attracted to everyone else, if that's your stance.
