Lol that’s because it is. We are in an apartment and when it was hanging and swinging the birds weren’t interested. Unfortunately i have no where to plant a stake to mount it to the ground, so it’s just going to be our “floor feeder” until we move into a new home!
Lol. My first 25 events with mine - 1 red finch, 1 cardinal, 23 of the same black squirrel. And for the record, it ignored the alarm feature by the third attempt.

They sell a window mount.
Birds will not likely come to the feeder on the floor. Give them a safe location.

Thanks! I just ordered a wall mount off of Etsy to better accommodate our needs. I couldn’t rationalize the $20 shipping cost from Bird Buddy!
