A south suburban mayor allegedly ordered a village worker to perform an improper search of a law enforcement database, and when a whistleblower reported it to the Illinois State Police, he was fired.
“She told me: ‘I had no right. She was the mayor,'” Josh Watson told WGN Investigates.
