Have you had any issues with that magnetic knife rack dropping heavier or larger knives? We are looking at adding one to get the wood block out of here.

I had one of these for a couple of years before moving. It worked great! I never had problems with larger knives

I put it in recently but no problems at all so far. The magnet is very strong and you have to give a good strong pull to get the blades off but it's not a chore.

Good to know, will make sure we have some series drywall anchors, would hate to pull the whole rack off the wall with the knife still attached.
