Nightly, as the name implies, updates nightly. It's the "bleeding edge" release, meaning you'll get the newest features but will probably get more issues running it as a result.

For any app, not just NewPipe, the nightly version is the latest but not as stable version, and you are basically beta testing it.

@glitchselector @JackGreenEarth @newpipe it was in my case.... there used to be a simple 8 mb apk link.
