Wi-Fi 7 eero Max 7 announced

I'm not seeing much of anything about this online. The usual tech blogs just have a blurb up now, TG was the longest one I could find. Would like to know how many bands it supports and whether there will be any more advanced features added with this.

Finally up on eero's website: https://eero.com/shop/eero-max-7

It's tri-band which I'm not 100% happy about. I think quad-band with two 5Ghz Wi-Fi6 bands is the smarter move for the next few years. I don't see any mention of more advanced features like multiple SSIDs and VLANs, nor being able to run the eero as a VPN server. I didn't expect it, but hope springs eternal.

I’m excited that it has 4 Ethernet ports that are faster than 1gbps. However, I’m less excited about the price. You’d really need to have some use cases that requires WiFi 7 to justify paying $599 for an access point!

That is a big improvement. The Pro 6E's having only one 2.5Gb Ethernet port always felt like they had a supply chain shortage and rather than cancelling, they pushed it out any way.
