O agree with you. But there’s one place where the Xbox layout is better. With the d pad at the bottom you can reach over with your right thumb and use it in addition to using your left. This opens up options for a lot of games that require precise or intricate input. But ergonomically speaking I e always preferred PlayStation.
I want to map multiple inputs to a single button. Like Steam Controller or Steam Deck. I got the Dualsense Edge and the lack of this feature was a major disappointment.
