That’s a lot of effort for master lock. You could’ve just farted in the key way to open it.

They're so bad that this isn't even the key to that master lock! lol

To be honest that's why I chose it. I'm not sure consumer grade FDM stands a chance at a lock with decent tolerances.

Resin prints are the way to go! One day I'll get one!

Off to see if I can find how they created a model from a photo of angled faces now!

I assume you estimated the bitting from the photo and then modeled the key?

Pretty much yeah. Fond a master lock bitting depth overlay, put the desired cuts into an online key generator, print! Didn't even need to model the key myself :)

Oh boy! This is dangerous then! Especially when those EDC guys are always posting pictures of their keychains online.
